Ozzy Osbourne goes vegan

Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne has decided to adopt the vegan eating plan in a bid to improve his health.

The 62-year-old superstar appeared on The Talk as a guest earlier this week and explained to the host that after being shown an educational video by his assistant on "cutting out meat and dairy products" he thought it might be beneficial to his fast-paced lifestyle:

"My assistant showed me a video called Forks and Knives (sic) or something, about (cutting out) meat and dairy products, so I thought, 'I'll give this a shot!'"

"I feel OK actually, I feel better about myself, you know? I go on binges... That's the reason why I decided to cut out meat out and dairy because I've limited what I can have because when you're on the road and you're travelling, you grab buns and... burgers are everywhere... so now I've just narrowed the margin."

When asked if this was going to be a significant turning point in his life, Ozzy added "I'm not saying I'm gonna do it forever; I might go back - when my wife learns to cook, so that'll be never!"

Osbourne once bit off a bat's head causing outrage but he later revealed he thought the animal, that had been thrown at him onto the stage by a fan, was just a toy.

He also opened up about his son Jack's recent engagement and gave some fatherly advice, and you can watch him talk about the exciting family news below:
