The two-in-a-million twins, Jedward, have been nominated as Funniest TV Personality at the 2012 LAFTA Awards.

The 'Lipstick' duo are nominated alongside Angelos Epithemiou, David Hasselhoff, Ian Beale and Lee Nelson and the votes are open to the public on loaded.co.uk.

The likes of Ricky Gervais, Vic and Bob, Tim Minchin and Dom Joly are also nominated for awards but Jimmy Carr leads the nominations with his name cropping up for five awards, including Funniest Male and Funniest Twitterer.

“I know a couple who get on like a house on fire. They both feel trapped and are slowly suffocating to death.” 

The awards will take place sometime in February.
