Last night at the O2 Arena in London, it took the superstar Rihanna almost an hour longer to arrive onstage. 

Fans, who were waiting for her, vented their frustrations on Twitter saying that the 'S&M' singer took over 45 minutes to one hour to come onstage. 

Some fans pointed out that this was half the duration of the concert overall and that the money spent on their ticket was a "waste".

"Rihanna is 45 mins late on stage. People are booing loudly"

"Rihanna being an hour late was totally unacceptable. That fact that she has many a great hit saved the day. Shame the music drowned her out."

"Can't believe @rihanna came out so late. Missed half the show so that was £50 wasted :-("

"Very disappointed @rihanna spent a lot of money tonight & it was an absolute waste. Late & not even a sorry. Sounded awful too.Never again :("

"Bed. Coco Pops. And a film about transgenders. Rihanna was cool-ting. Even if she was mega late onstage"

"The whole of the 02 are now booing Rihanna for being 45 mins late!"

In September, the 23-year-old was almost two hours late for her Belfast show which she later apologised for and she had to cancel a show in Sweden in October when she was hospitalised with the flu.  

The star's Loud Tour will be coming to an end on December 22 and in total, she will have played 98 tour dates.
