Amy Winehouse bags No.1 album

Amy Winehouse has landed at the No.1 spot in the official UK albums chart this evening (December 11).

Her posthumous album 'Lioness: Hidden Treasures' shot straight to the top of the chart, ousting previous No.1 Olly Murs, who dropped to No.4.

Former X Factor contestant Rebecca Ferguson meanwhile managed a respectable No.3 position with her debut album, 'Heaven'.

Elsewhere in the albums chart, Adele's monolithic '21' moved down to No.6 whilst One Direction's 'Up All Night' dropped five places to No.9.

Ed Sheeran's '+' and Coldplay's 'Mylo Xyloto' however were both non-movers, sticking at No.7 and No.8 respectively.
