Man arrested in connection with Madonna single leak

A man has been arrested in Spain in connection with the leaked Madonna demo that surfaced online back in November.

The song in question, 'Gimme All Your Luvin', was recently announced as the first single to be taken from her forthcoming album and an early version of it appeared on the internet last month.

According to the BBC, a man with the initials J.M.R has been taken into custody by police in Zaragoza and was described as a big fan of the pop icon.

Despite the positive reaction to the leaked track, Madonna's manager Guy O'Seary took to Twitter several weeks ago to give fans a message and explained that the Queen of Pop was disappointed that someone had uploaded the demo before it was ready:

"I'm very happy with the positive reaction to the demo, but we are very upset with whoever leaked the song!!!!!!!! Madonna told me this morning "my true fans wouldn't do this"... whoever is responsible for this leak, we ask that you please stop!.."
