Rihanna is "waiting for the call" to perform live with Coldplay

Rihanna has admitted that she would love to perform live with stadium rockers Coldplay if the opportunity arose.

The Bajan sensation recorded a collaboration with the band called 'Princess of China', which features on their new album 'Mylo Xyloto', and she has now added to the speculation that a live rendition of it may be exercised at the 2012 BRIT awards by revealing that it would be great to duet on stage together:

"I think Chris Martin is a special guy. His songwriting is just beautiful and I am a huge fan. If they want me to sing with Coldplay, I will be waiting for the call. I'd love to perform with them."

Coldplay's frontman, Chris Martin, recently said that 'Princess of China' was his favourite part of the new record so a live joint performance may be on the cards for the near future:

"Her bit on our record is my favourite bit ... when the song came out, it sort of asked for her to be on it. And I think at this point, we have nothing to lose, and so we've been trying some new things and trying to break down the perceived boundaries between different types of music."
