Ed Sheeran confirms plans to duet with Jessie J

Ed Sheeran has confirmed that he is in discussions with Jessie J about recording a duet.

The singer songwriter told the Daily Star that the blockbuster pop collaboration is very much on the cards - but he wants to ensure that both parties feature equally on the potential track.

Sheeran, who recently confirmed that he has also worked with Example, admitted that whilst the idea is in the talking stages, nothing is confirmed yet. He said:

"Jessie and I are talking about a duet. I don't want either of us simply to feature on the other person's song, I want it to be a genuine collaboration where we both sing equal amounts."

Sheeran is a hot topic in the pop world at the moment after recently landing four nominations for this year's BRIT Awards, including nods in the Best Album and British Single categories.
