Simon Cowell "hasn't decided" yet on 2012 X Factor judging panel

Simon Cowell has admitted that none of the X Factor judging panel are guaranteed a role on this year's show.

The music mogul told The Sun's TV Biz that he's looking at everything - "the whole show and panel" - in an effort to inject some pizazz into the programme.

As previously reported, Cowell has lamented the last series of the UK version for lacking "personality" and "raw talent".

And it seems like no stone will be left unturned as he sets out to re-energise the show. He said:

"I don't know if I will keep the panel the same yet. No one knows yet because I haven't decided. Look what happened last time I tried to fire Louis! But I wouldn't say he is safe. We have got to look at everything - the whole show and panel."

Cowell added that he thought judge Gary Barlow might have been too busy in 2012 anyway to keep his role. He said:

"I always thought that with Gary he would have the Take That commitment in 2012. But there has to be a certain amount of unpredictability with this show, it is what keeps people interested."
