An emotional Nick Carter dedicated a song last night (February 2) to his sister, who passed away on Tuesday (January 31).

Despite having a tour booked, Backstreet Boys star Nick vowed to carry on and fulfil the dates, just days after the death of his sister Leslie, who was just 25-years-old.

Carter performed at the Irving Plaza in New York last night and dedicated the acoustic track 'Falling Down' to his sister. He said:

"I never thought I'd ever have to, but I'd like to dedicate this song to my sister."

As previously reported, Carter revealed that touring would be a "cathartic" way of dealing with the tragic death, saying:

"Performing is cathartic to me and I am dedicating the rest of my tour to my sister since she loved to watch me perform."
