2012 GRAMMY Awards begin, Skrillex wins 2 prizes

The 2012 GRAMMYs may have only just launched, but dubstep star Skrillex is already celebrating his second win of the night (February 12). 

The talented young producer has been nominated for an impressive 5 titles and at the time of writing has scooped the Best Remixed Recording (Non-Classical) prize for his reworked version of Benny Benassi's 'Cinema' along with the Best Dance/Electronica Album trophy for his record 'Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites'.

Tweeting about his success so far this evening, Skrillex told his fans: "Forgot to shout out so many people...I could have spent an hour shouting all my dogs...but BIG shout to @BennyBenassi and@garygo Congrats!!"

"If I can win grammys then that means all you yet to be seen bedroom geniuses will one day TAKEOVER THE WORLD"
