Cher Lloyd's recent joke about Cheryl Cole's use of Auto-Tune appears to have irked the singer as she posted a cryptic message on Twitter that indirectly hinted at the criticism. 

During an interview with Real Radio North West, the 'Swagger Jagger' hitmaker was asked if she would ever consider collaborating with Cole to which she replied:

"Maybe, if she sings live with me... [it’s] always [a challenge] nowadays when you haven’t got the nifty little button to press."

When questioned if she was accusing Cole of using the electronic affect unfairly and too much, she quipped: "What, oh no? Never, never ever!"

Yesterday, February 14, Cole took to the popular social networking site and wrote: "Be Careful who you kick on your way up .. They kick you twice as hard on your way back down.. #unappreciationisugly."
