X-Factor's Amelia Lily lands three-album deal

X-Factor finalist Amelia Lily has landed a three-album deal with hit factory Xenomania.

According to The Daily Mirror, the 17-year-old, who finished third behind winners Little Mix and runner-up Marcus Collins in the 2011 series, has signed a contract worth £500k with the Sony imprint, previously responsible for hits by the likes of Girls Aloud, Sugababes and Kylie Minogue.

The pink-haired singer, who was originally booted off the show in week one only to return after Frankie Cocozza’s departure, had already hinted that she was working in Xenomania’s Kent-based studios in a Twitter message least week.

Amelia Lily has also previously stated that she would like to make an album that “sounds a bit Kelly Clarkson/Pink. Still really pop, but with an edge in there also,” whilst during an interview with This Morning, confirmed that she has recorded a duet with mentor Kelly Rowland
