Queen tease BRITs appearance, Adam Lambert spotted at JFK

Iconic stadium rock band Queen have made an exciting announcement that has set Adam Lambert's fans' tongues wagging.

The 'We Will Rock You' superstars, who famously performed with the American Idol hitmaker back in 2011 at the MTV EMAs, took to their official website earlier today (February 17) and hinted that any followers of theirs should tune in to the forthcoming BRIT Awards next week:

"Be sure to watch the BRIT Awards next Tuesday on ITV1 at 8pm, you might just recognise a particular guitarist and drummer popping up in the proceedings..."

Meanwhile, Lambert has been spotted in the past hour (9pm BST) at New York's JFK airport by user @EmilySkibenes who tweeted: "Just casually saw Adam Lambert at JFK"

His appearance at the airport has since given way to speculation that suggests he might join Queen in London for a special live show at the BRITs on February 21.

On February 16, while being interviewed on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live, the 'Better Than I Know Myself' powerhouse also explained:

"I'm talking to Queen about doing something. I got to perform with them on the [MTV European Music Awards last November], which was so incredible - such an honor to be asked. And there may be something on the horizon, but I'm not joining the band. I have my own album that I need to promote this year, so... I think in a perfect world, I would like to try to find some sort of balance between the two projects, so I'm working on it."
