X Factor winners Little Mix tease new single details

X Factor 2011 winners Little Mix have revealed that they are well under way with sorting out their second single.

The girl group released a cover of Damien Rice's 'Cannonball' as their debut single post X Factor, shooting straight to the top of the UK singles chart.

Speaking to the Metro, Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall said that their next release is in the pipeline. She said:

"We're getting there. We were listening to it today and were like, 'Yes! This is the one'."

The newspaper added that Thirlwall's bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock had earlier suggested the track would be sonically "a bit different". She is reported to have said:

"It's R&B-pop hip-hop kind of merged into one. It's just something a bit different."
