A number of top music stars have been announced for this year's T in the Park festival this morning (February 23), including Jessie J and Kasabian.

They're joined by the likes of Snow Patrol, who will be one of the headliners at the popular festival held in Balado, Scotland.

Other new confirmations include Emeli Sandé, Tinie Tempah, Calvin Harris, Skrillex and New Order.

They join already announced acts such as Stone Roses, Florence and the Machine, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and the Vaccines.

Speaking about their participation in this year's festivities, Kasabian said:

"It's an honour that we've been invited back to play T in the Park. It's always been one of our favourite UK festivals and after having such a blast in 2010, we can't wait to do it all over again."
