La Toya Jackson defends her father's 'Michael Jackson' tribute fragrances

La Toya Jackson has defended her father's somewhat unexpected decision to launch a range of tribute fragrances to the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

It was revealed last year that Joe Jackson had teamed up with business partner Franck Rouas and together they have since unveiled the Jackson Tribute and Jackson Legend colognes.

Joe Jackson has also spent a considerable amount of time selling the aftershave from a kiosk inside a Los Angeles area mall, a move which has angered many of Michael's fans, but La Toya sat down with Wendy Williams today (February 24) and explained that there was no ill intention behind his sales technique or the product in question:

"We wouldn't have a Michael if there wasn't for Joseph Jackson (sic). He gave Michael to us... He is wonderful, so when you say, 'He's Joe Jackson, he's Michael Jackson's father, how could he do this (profit off his son's name)?' That's his father, that's his son."
