The Wanted to perform on Jay Leno

The Wanted are set to further boost their profile in the US after landing a slot on Jay Leno’s hugely popular late-night chat show.

The boyband, who have also recently appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show and Chelsea Lately, announced on their Twitter page last night that they will perform their single, ‘Glad You Came,’ on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Mar 20.

They tweeted: "We are thrilled to announce that on March 20th, we will be on @JayLenoTonight performing #GLADYOUCAME! Can't wait! #TheWantedOnLENO.”

The ‘All Time Low’ chart-toppers, currently in the middle of their first UK arena tour, are already making waves with the song across the Atlantic, having climbed to number 23 in this week’s Billlboard Hot 100, while The Warblers also covered the track in last week’s episode of Glee
