Producer Diplo describes Chris Brown as an 'asshole' over Grammy Awards behaviour

Superstar producer Diplo has labelled Chris Brown an ‘asshole’ over his behaviour at the Grammy Awards.

The 33-year-old, who produced the Grammy-nominated track, ‘Look At Me Now,’ for Brown’s album, 'F.A.M.E.,' told Rolling Stone magazine that he felt the controversial star didn't do himself any favours following his win for Best R&B Album at the event last month:

"I'm not a circuit-court judge or anything. Chris Brown served his sentence. What else can you do? I do think he's an asshole – like, at the Grammys, he could have been more graceful. But he's an artist. He's good at what he does."

The Philadelphia-based musician, who has previously worked with the likes of Beyonce and Kanye West, also didn’t hold back about another of his former collaborators, ex-girlfriend, M.I.A.

Referring to the last time they worked together in the studio, he said: "She didn't really know what she was doing. She was really abusive, telling me I wasn't good enough or fast enough."

When asked about her recent two-finger salute at the Superbowl, he added: "It was kind of stupid. I think her being on that Madonna song is kind of lame, and she was trying to make up for that. That song is such a flop."
