The Wanted are among a number of acts confirmed to play at a series of special events to mark the Olympic Torch Relay.

They will play at London's Hyde Park on July 26 alongside the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Mark Ronson, Katy B and Rizzle Kicks.

There will also be a number of gigs held throughout the UK, with concerts planned in Cardiff, Glasgow, Leeds and Birmingham.

The first event of the series will take place in Cardiff on May 25, with You Me At Six, Emeli Sandé and Kids in Glass Houses set to perform. The final event will see Hyde Park host its mega bill of top music talent.

Tickets for the Hyde Park gig will cost £15, with the other events free.

Speaking about the event, The Wanted's Tom Parker said: "We are so excited to be performing. This is a chance for everyone in the UK to experience the magic of The Games. Get a ticket and get involved!"
