Heartthrobs One Direction have announced plans to recruit a sixth band member, only this time the lucky addition to the group will be a 19-year-old girl.

The boyband’s management are looking to build upon their impressive recent success in America by adding another member, however, because their fanbase is largely female, they decided to sign up a girl in order to appeal to the teenage boys and expand the demographic.

The singer was picked up by One Direction’s crew after a tip-off from X Factor's Simon Cowell, who had previously been sent tapes of her performing.

She is expected to join the boys for their upcoming headlining tour of the U.S. later this spring. No official photos have been released as of yet, but her name is Saday Loopfril.
