Rihanna has confirmed that she is planning to tour in 2013.

The ‘Umbrella’ star last took to the stage for the 'Loud' tour late last year, and has previously declared she’ll be spending 2012 concentrating on her film career and working on her seventh studio album.

But the 24-year-old told Capital FM that fans shouldn’t have to wait too long to see her in person again: "We're going to be going on tour next year. So this year we're spending out time planning to make sure it's bigger than anything we've done and something more impactful, maybe something different, so my fans can get excited about it."

The Bajan singer, who yesterday tweeted several pictures direct from her Tokyo hotel room, also revealed that she plans to keep on using the tube after being asked about her several trips on the London underground:

"Of course I am! Even if I didn't want to before I've got three Oyster Cards in the last 24 hours!

"So I don't have a choice now! They're all topped up. I need to, like, max them out!”
