Ronan Keating has denied reports that he is set to emigrate to Australia following his marriage split.

The Irish singer confirmed yesterday (April 1) on Twitter that he and his wife have ended their marriage, 14 years after they tied the knot.

Keating had tweeted: "Sadly our news is true. Thank u all for your support. Yvonne and I still love and care for each other and want to protect our kids. X"

And today (April 2) he took to Twitter again to dismiss newspaper reports that he is set to move to Australia following his split. He said:

"I hear some papers are saying I plan on moving to Oz. great country but my kids live in Ireland and so will I. X"
