The British boyband have been causing a storm in the US over the past couple of months, gaining a large following Stateside.

Speaking in a webchat with MSN, Lovato was asked if she had any celebrity crushes - replying with Niall Horan and adding:

"He's so adorable."

Lovato isn't the only famous face to show their support for One Direction in recent weeks. As previously reported, President Obama's wife Michelle appeared to show her love for the boyband at the recent Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.

Boyband veterans Backstreet Boys meanwhile have also been bigging up the band, hinting that they might want to work with them in the future.
