Rihanna admits to feeling uneasy about living in the spotlight

Rihanna has revealed that living in the public eye will "never be second nature" to her.

The singer is something of a global sensation and inevitably she has become a figure of intense attention as a result.

Speaking to more! magazine, Rihanna said that dealing with the pressure of fame is akin to a "rollercoaster". She said:

"It's like a rollercoaster. It's anxiety at its finest and it's overwhelming. You almost hold your breath until the cameras stop flashing. It will never be second nature."

Rihanna added that her friends and past life experiences have helped her keep sane in all the furore of fame. When asked how she keeps grounded, Rihanna replied:

"My experiences in life and having a good group of friends. They are brutally honest and I need that! I'm very loyal and I'll tell it like it is. But I turn to my friends all the time - I trust them so much. I don't care what the media think, but I respect their opinions and their advice is never shady."
