Cheryl Cole has confirmed that her forthcoming new album, named 'A Million Lights', is set to be released later this summer.

The 'Promise This' songstress will release the highly-anticipated record on June 18 and it will be preceded by her single 'Call My Name' on June 10.

In addition to this exciting news, Cole also explained that 'Call My Name' will receive its on-air debut this coming Friday (April 20) from 8.10am BST "across all UK radio".

She tweeted a message directing her 1.9 million followers to her website earlier this afternoon (April 18), which contains the information in full, and added:

"Soooo EXCITED for you to hear #CallMyName on the radio this Friday.. *bbm dancing man*"
