Cheryl Cole debuts new single 'Call My Name'

Girls Aloud singer and solo star Cheryl Cole has premiered her forthcoming new single, 'Call My Name', and the track has been met with a phenomenal response online.

The song, which was written and produced by Calvin Harris, debuted on Capital FM this morning and is 3 and a half minutes of fantastic dance-infused pop.

Following the single's first play, Cole took to social networking site Twitter and thanked her followers for their support:

"Oh my god .. There's a RAVE on my timeline and it's only 8.30AM !! LMAO Legggooooooo #CallMyName Love you!"

Rochelle from popular girl group The Saturdays also tweeted about her love for the cut and wrote: "Just been in my car caught @CherylCole new track on the radio, ohhh what a big tune! Stuck in my head :)"

The single is due to be officially released on June 10, with Cole's forthcoming studio album following on June 18.
