Coldplay tease 'Princess Of China' video with live debut of Rihanna clip

British rockers Coldplay have unveiled an exciting clip of Rihanna performing their collaborative track 'Princess Of China' on a screen behind them during a recent concert.

The stars debuted this exciting teaser clip from the forthcoming video on the opening night of their 'Mylo Xyloto' world tour, which kicked off in Edmonton, Canada on April 17, and it shows the Bajan beauty singing her parts of the song while dressed in a dramatic gothic eastern style.

Speaking about their duet last year, Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin revealed to The Sun newspaper that asking Rihanna to lay down vocals on the cut was a game of nerves:

"It has boy and girl lead characters and top of our list for the girl part was Rihanna... but it took a while to pluck up the courage to ask her. We did a show in Las Vegas and I met her and said, 'Do you think there's any chance?' I was very Hugh Grant-like and spluttering about it."

The band will return to the UK from their current North American dates on May 29 when they will perform in Coventry before moving on to London, Sunderland and Manchester.
