I meet up with Adele for biscuits and tea, says TV's Alan Carr

TV star Alan Carr has revealed that he often goes to visit Adele for biscuits and tea.

Speaking to the Sun, Carr opened up on his friendship with vocal superstar Adele, saying that she doesn't drink or smoke.

As a result, they tend to open a pack of biscuits, drink a cuppa and put on a film. He said:

"She's always round my house, and I go round hers. We open a pack of HobNobs, cup of tea, watch Four In A Bed. She's got loads of time off now so I see a lot of her. What with her losing her voice last year really worrying her, she doesn't drink, she don't smoke, it's like having Sister Wendy round."

As previously reported, Adele has been named as 2012's top gay icon by radio station Gaydar, beating off competition from the likes of Lady Gaga.
