Justin Bieber mobbed by fans as he arrives in the UK

Justin Bieber was mobbed by enthusiastic fans today (April 23) as he touched down in the UK.

The teen star is in the country as he builds up buzz ahead of his forthcoming album release.

As he landed at London's Heathrow airport he found himself immersed in giddy fans, with some reportedly in tears.

Speaking about hitting the UK on Twitter, Bieber hinted that there might have been some people there to cause nuisance. He said:

"Wow. Airport was crazy getting to London! All worth it for my beliebers. Some people always tryna ruin it for the fans. Not today Swaggy."

As previously reported, Justin Bieber was recently announced as one of the performers at this year's Billboard Music Awards, which takes place in Las Vegas on May 20.
