Chris Brown confirms 'Fortune' delay

'Turn Up The Music' chart-topper Chris Brown has confirmed that his forthcoming new album, 'Fortune', has been hit with a delay.

The superstar took to his official Twitter page yesterday (April 22) and revealed to his fans that the highly-anticipated record will now be released in July, two months later than planned, as opposed to the originally scheduled date of May 8:

"Team Breezy! The official album date for FORTUNE is July 3, 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!"

He has already teased two tracks from his fifth studio album, namely the Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa collaboration 'Till I Die' and 'Sweet Love', so his followers will have something to tide them over until later in the summer when the cut drops.

Brown recently joined the photo sharing and editing community of Instagram and has been sharing numerous pictures with his followers that document his travels and every day life.
