Adam Lambert to show the duality of his personality on new album

Adam Lambert has said that his forthcoming new album 'Trespassing' shows two different sides of his personality.

Speaking to 103.5 KTU, Lambert spoke about the album and explained that it is a game of two halves.

Lambert reckons the first half of the record is more "funk and dance", whilst the second half is more introspective. When asked what the feel of the album is like, Lambert replied:

"It's a bit different from the last album that I put out. It's a lot funkier and more dance orientated than the first one was. There's still that kind of rock star spirit in there, but we definitely went further into the funk, dance jam. The first half of the album or so is really upbeat, really fun and rebellious, a lot of attitude...and then the back half of the album gets slower, a bit more emotional and a bit darker. So I think it's cool that I got to show people two major sides of my personality on this one."

Lambert meanwhile said that he is due to perform on American Idol some time around mid-May.

Queen, who Lambert is fronting for a series of special shows in the summer, have reportedly also been confirmed to play the TV show this week (April 25) - but without Lambert on vocals.
