Katy Perry took her 'Part Of Me' video theme to the next level with her performance on American Idol last night (April 26).

The singer's video for the single saw Perry don all the gear and join in on marine life.

For her American Idol performance, Perry parachuted down to the stage as camouflage heavy backing dancers did their thing.

As the song continued, more dancers appeared as Perry led the choreography.

Perry meanwhile went for a navy theme too recently as she performed a special show at a Naval Academy in the US - recreating a classic kiss with a lucky Officer.
