TLC claim they had idea for Left Eye hologram years before Tupac show

TLC’s T-Boz has claimed that she had the idea for a hologram of the late Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes years before Tupac’s recent ‘resurrection.’

Rumours surfaced earlier this week that the R&B girlband are to use a similar visual stunt as Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, in order to bring Lopes, who died in a car crash in 2002, 'back to life' for an anniversary tour.

And whilst the duo have yet to confirm the news, T-Boz, real name Tionne Watkins, told Essence Magazine that she has been open to the possibility for a long time:

"I have been trying to get a hologram for years but no one would pay for the budget."

The 42-year-old, who alongside Rozanda ‘Chilli’ Thomas and Lopes, sold over 50 million albums in the 90s, went onto admit how emotional she found Tupac’s recent ‘appearance’ at the Coachella Festival:

"With Lisa, the first three years, I don’t think I could’ve dealt with a hologram, because you see how eerie it is. When I saw the Tupac hologram, it made me feel some kind of way. I had tears in my eyes because he was my friend."
