Justin Bieber on getting told off by his mother, being a good boyfriend and his new album

18-year-old international superstar Justin Bieber is currently on a press tour in support of his new single 'Boyfriend' and forthcoming studio album 'Believe', and sat down with ITV's Daybreak for a revealing interview.

The Canadian sensation explained that his new record is extremely personal and he has even written about his mother, Pattie Mallette, but despite his stardom she still tells him off if he steps out of line:

"She's just been a great mum and has been supportive of my career and she has moved all across the world to support my career."

When asked if she still pulls him up for bad behaviour, Bieber laughed: "She's my mum so she's always telling me what to do!"

He also opened up about what makes a good boyfriend and explained that "any good boyfriend is someone who can just be sweet to a girl, do random things like nice gestures and be honest"

Bieber, who currently has over 21 million followers on social networking site Twitter, is very influential online and took to the micro-blogging site this morning (April 30) to shoot down rumours about the relationship between himself and his fans:

"One rumuor I won't stand for is saying what me and my fans have isn't real. Indonesia I see you. I love you. I love ALL MY FANS. #fact. You can't break us. All the lies and rumours in the world can't phase us."
