Tulisa on course for debut UK No.1 single

Tulisa looks set to land a No.1 single this weekend with her debut effort 'Young'.

The N-Dubz and X Factor star has gone solo and is sitting pretty at the top of the midweek singles chart, which was released today (May 2).

She looks set to usurp long running No.1 Carly Rae Jepsen, whose 'Call Me Maybe' spent a number of consecutive weeks at the top of the chart.

Elsewhere in the midweek singles chart, Cover Drive enter at No.3 with 'Sparks', whilst fun.'s US smash hit 'We Are Young' is in at No.4.

Train land at No.8 with 'Drive By', whilst the 'British Justin Bieber' Conor Maynard charts at No.9 with his track 'Can't Say No'.
