The N-Dubz star was added to the line-up for last year's series after Cheryl Cole left the show.

This year's judging panel isn't quite confirmed yet, but X Factor supremo Simon Cowell took to Twitter to joke that Tulisa is the show's head judge.

His statement perhaps leaves little doubt that the singer will be asked back on to the judging panel. He said:

"I understand Louis & Gary are squabbling as to who is head judge..since @OfficialTulisa won last year, she is the reigning head judge."

One person not returning to the X Factor however is Kelly Rowland, who recently confirmed that she will be leaving the show.
