Ed Sheeran warns of upcoming false rehab story

Earlier today (May 8), singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran took to social networking site Twitter and confirmed that he was pulling out of the remaining Snow Patrol tour dates.

Sheeran only cited "personal reasons" for the sudden cancellation and has now warned his fans that the press are likely to run a story this week that suggests he's returning to the UK for a stint in rehab. He tweeted:

"Apparently media are running a story tomorrow about how im coming home early to enter rehab, im missing 4 days of a tour to see my family..."

"But yeah, no rehab just yet, but i am going to legoland in a few weeks, so might need it after that."

The talented hitmaker will perform live on The Conan O'Brian Show tonight (May 8).
