Jessie J wins Best British Act at the 2012 Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards

Songstress Jessie J has been named the winner of the Best British Act title at this year's Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards.

Nordoff Robbins provides music therapy to people in the hope that it will improve their general wellbeing, address emotional and behavioural difficulties and help them with confidence issues.

The 'Domino' superstar is set to be presented with the prize at the exciting ceremony, which will take place on June 29 at London's Hilton Hotel on Park Lane. A statement on Nordoff-Robbins.org.uk confirms:

"Jessie J will be presented with the well-deserved Royal Albert Hall Best British Act Award, after ruling the charts with her smash hits such as ‘Price Tag’, ‘Do It Like A Dude’ and ‘Domino’."

She is also set to present the Lifetime Achievement award to composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, who picked her to star in the West End production of Whistle Down The Wind when she was just 11, and he revealed that he's looking forward to seeing her at the ceremony:

"It will be fantastic to see Jessie J again and I’m looking forward to celebrating with her and all the other award winners in June."
