The Wanted praise President Obama's support of same-sex marriage

Boyband The Wanted, who have spent a lot of time in the USA since the beginning of this year, have spoken out about President Barack Obama's recent comments on same-sex marriage and praised his very open stance on it.

Member Jay McGuiness explained to MTV News that Obama's public support of same-sex marriage "was a logical step" and he believes equality should be something that's given to everybody regardless of their sexual orientation or beliefs:

"I think it was a logical step, about time. I wish it was church-led in my opinion, but I don't care, it's out there now. Well done, Obama and Co! Even if it was for the right or wrong reasons, it's definitely the right outcome."

Meanwhile, The Wanted lads took to their official Twitter page yesterday (May 10) and revealed that they are working on a new music video for 'Chasing The Sun' as it has been picked up as the title track for 'Ice Age 4':

"Shooting a new video for 'Chasing The Sun' for Ice Age 4 today, should be a cool one!"
