Alesha Dixon admits she wants to remain on Britain’s Got Talent panel

Alesha Dixon has admitted that she wants to return to the judging panel for next year’s Britain’s Got Talent.

The 33-year-old, who was poached by Simon Cowell from Strictly Come Dancing for the current sixth series, told Digital Spy that she has enjoyed having the freedom to show off her more playful side:

"I'd love to come back next year. If I'm asked back, I'd jump at the chance. I've had the time of my life.

"I've loved all the banter between the judges and all the crazy dancing in our seats during performances - that never happened on Strictly Come Dancing!"

The former Mis-Teeq star also praised the show, whose high-profile ratings battle with The Voice will end tonight following its grand final, for the variety of acts it features:

"Britain's Got Talent is amazing; it's end-of-pier, crazy and credible.

"Acts like Ryan [O'Shaughnessy] and The Loveable Rogues give the show a contemporary and cool feel."
