Chris Brown confirmed to perform at 2012 Billboard Music Awards

R&B sensation Chris Brown has been added to the list of performers at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards.

The 'Turn Up The Music' hitmaker will take the stage at the exciting ceremony for a special live set on May 20 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.

He will join the likes of The Wanted, Justin Bieber, LMFAO, Kelly Clarkson, Usher and Linkin Park, who are all confirmed to perform at the star-studded event, and also took to social networking site Twitter yesterday (May 11) to clear up some rumours surrounding a recent freestyle that he shared with fans.

'Fortune', Brown's upcoming new record, was set to drop on May 8 but has now been delayed until July 3 and he unveiled a freestyle to tide his fans over that featured the lyrics:

"Don't f**k with my old bitch it's like a bad fur/ Every industry n***a done had her/ Shook the tree like a pumpkin just to smash her/ Bitch is breaking codes, but I'm the password."

Speculation about who Brown was referring to soon began to grow and in an attempt to stop unwanted rumours spreading, he tweeted: "Assumptions! I didn't say any names so if u took offense to it then its something you feel guilty about. Anything y'all wanna know, listen to the album! July 3rd!"
