Rita Ora admits relief at turning down EurovisionRita Ora has admitted that turning down a chance to represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest was the best decision she ever made. The Kosovan singer, who is set to chart at number one in the UK later today with her debut solo single, ‘R.I.P.,’ appeared on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s televised search to find the 2009 entry, 'Your Country Needs You,' but quit the show after feeling she wasn’t ready for the music industry. The 21-year-old, who has since signed with Jay-Z’s label Roc Nation and appeared on DJ Fresh’s chart-topper ‘Hot Right Now,’ told the Daily Star that she’s now relieved she pulled out of the competition: "I had a gut instinct it was the wrong thing. Nothing against Eurovision but it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Ora, who recently expressed her frustrations at seeing her unreleased songs leak online, also revealed that her debut album will feature a collaboration with a certain new British teen idol: “I’ve been in the studio with Conor Maynard.
