Katy Perry is set to perform a new song at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (20 May).

According to Billboard, Perry will play the track 'Wide Awake', which was penned for her upcoming 3D film 'Katy Perry: Part of Me'.

The awards ceremony is set to take place at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, with the likes of Justin Bieber and The Wanted already confirmed to perform at the event.

As previously reported, Katy Perry has admitted her exhaustion after gruelling tour and promotional cycles.

The singer was speaking at the 2012 NARM Awards, proclaiming that she needs to take a "f***ing vacation" after performing.
