He made a return to Idol last night however to perform his latest single 'Never Close Our Eyes', which comes off his second album 'Trespassing'.

The singer and his band sported a fluorescent yellow colour theme, with Lambert wearing a coloured t shirt and ear pieces.

As previously reported, Lambert's 'Trespassing' looks to be on course to hit No.1 in the US albums chart next week.

The album has also been riding high in the US iTunes chart too as Lambert fever spreads across America.
