Rita Ora spends second week at UK number one spot

Rita Ora’s debut solo single, ‘R.I.P.,’ has landed the UK number one spot for the second week running.

The Kosovan star fended off competition from Fun’s 'We Are Young' (No.2) and Carly Rae Jepsen’s ‘Call Me Maybe’ (No.3) to achieve the feat in a week which also saw Top 20 new entries for The Saturdays’ '30 Days,' (No.7) D'banj’s ‘Oliver Twist’ (No.9) and Scissor Sisters’ ‘Only The Horses’ (No.12).

Also making their debut on the chart are Professor Green & Ruth Anne’s ‘Remedy’ (No.27), Skepta's 'Make Peace Not War' (No.29), Skrillex's 'Bangarang' (No.32) and Ben Howard's 'Only Love' (No.37).

Elsewhere, Labrinth's 'Express Yourself' climbed 17 places to No.17, Emeli Sande's 'My Kind Of Love' reached a new peak of No.19, Coldplay & Rihanna’s ‘Princess of China’ re-entered at No.30 whilst Madonna missed the Top 40 for the first time in her career with the second single from 'MDNA,' ‘Girl Gone Wild.'
