The girls from Little Mix sat down earlier this evening (June 1) for a revealing interview with British funnyman Alan Carr and spoke about their relationship with X Factor mentor Tulisa, their previous jobs and love lives.

When asked if they keep in touch with N-Dubz singer turned solo star Tulisa Contostavlos, the girls were quick to express their admiration for her and admitted she often cooks for them and recently prepared a meal of curried goat.

Jesy Nelson explained that during the X Factor final, the 'Young' singer was almost as nervous as they were: "she was literally trembling in her dressing room. She cared about us so much."

Comedian Carr asked the question on everyone's lips and encouraged Perrie to talk about her new relationship with One Direction's Zayn Malik, but she was careful with her words and simply said coyly: "Yeah, I'm really happy. He's lovely."

Carr also asked if it was true that one of the other One Direction members had a crush on her during The X Factor, which Jade Thirlwall immediately agreed with, and he joked that she "could have had it in two directions".

Leigh-Anne Pinnock also spoke about her previous job as a Pizza Hut waitress after Carr poked fun at her for her fast-food role and admitted that although she enjoyed the job at times she "didn't look back" when she finally quit to be in Little Mix.
