Drum ‘n’ bass star Goldie has described Prince Harry as the most in-touch member of the Royal Family.

The 46-year-old, who worked with the third in line to the throne on the BBC2 series Goldie’s Band: By Royal Appointment, told Channel 4’s The Royal History Of Pop that Harry has his finger on the pulse of popular culture more than any of his relatives:

“Harry knows how to party. I think out of the Royals he is probably the one who is most in touch with what you would call underground.”

The ‘Inner City Life’ DJ also refused to deny rumours that Prince Harry was the mystery person who danced on stage in a gorilla suit during a Basement Jaxx gig in 2009:

“I can’t speak for the man. Knowing his character, it’s something he would probably do."
