Gary Barlow reveals Diamond Jubilee role has helped him to fall in love with music again
Gary Barlow has revealed how his involvement with this weekend’s Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations has helped him to fall in love with music again.
The Take That star, who is currently busy organising tomorrow night's Buckingham Palace concert, told the Daily Star that producing the official Commonwealth single made him realise the power that music can have:
“Travelling all over the Commonwealth to produce the official single has reminded me what I love about music.
“You kind of forget because it becomes about money and you can get sidetracked in the business side.
“But meeting so many inspirational people who escape from their lives by playing music with instruments made out of bits of rubbish has reminded me just how special it is.”
“The balcony Will and Kate kissed on will be used during the concert.
“We have amazing projections on the front once it goes dark, we’re having a performance on the roof and a performance on the special balcony.”
