Wretch 32 discusses collaboration with Cheryl Cole

Wretch 32 has revealed how his collaboration with Cheryl Cole came about.

The 27-year-old rapper appears on ‘Screw You,’ a track on the Girls Aloud star's third solo album, 'A Million Lights,' which many are suggesting is about her ex-husband, Ashley Cole, thanks to lyrics like “Can’t believe all the s**t I did for you, was so caught up in the love I felt for you. I was never enough, I never got your love.”

And the ‘Traktor’ hit-maker told the Daily Record that he was honoured to be asked to contribute to the song: “She reached out and our managers talked. We heard the single and really liked it.

“I recorded it. It’s edgy and I’m happy to be a part of it. We didn’t meet at any point. I had to just get it done. We are going to sit down at some point and have a drink, which will be cool.

“I think we learned a lot from each other so it will be nice to have a sit down.”

However, the Tottenham MC, currently in the UK Top 40 with Ed Sheeran collaboration 'Hush Little Baby,' claims he would never follow in her footsteps by appearing on a TV talent show:

“I could never be a judge on X Factor because I am too indecisive.

“I might like something, but I change my mind too much. I don’t think I’d make as good a judge to be honest. I’ll be staying away from stuff like that.”
