Carly Rae Jepsen discusses her favourite singers

Carly Rae Jepsen has opened up on her favourite artists doing the rounds at the moment, praising the likes of La Roux.

Jepsen has emerged as one of the pop world's rising stars after her track 'Call Me Maybe' proved a massive hit.

Speaking to Capital FM, the Canadian spoke about some of the acts currently floating her boat, bigging up singers such as Gotye's 'Somebody That I Used To Know' collaborator Kimbra. She said:

"I really like La Roux and what she's been doing, and Dragonette I think is fantastic. Kimbra, the girl who's featured on the Gotye track, I think she's just got this real amazing uniqueness to everything she touches."

Jepsen meanwhile has been confirmed as the support for Justin Bieber's forthcoming North American tour - which managed to sell out in only an hour.
